Michelle Denisoff, Founder & CEO of Liona Enterprises
Starting my own business was something I always knew I would do. As the daughter of Filipino immigrants who came to the U.S. in 1995, I grew up in a close-knit community in Los Angeles, where my parents and family members lived as neighbors. My parents instilled in me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and helping others, which shaped who I am today. These values became the foundation for why I founded Liona Enterprises in January 2015.
After earning my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and my MBA from Pepperdine University, I knew I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the world—both in business and in my community. I spent years learning the ropes, working in various roles and taking every opportunity to grow my entrepreneurial and leadership skills. By the time I was 23, I had already attended graduate school and began thinking seriously about how to use my knowledge to create something impactful. Liona was born from that desire to combine my passion for business with my deep-rooted drive to make a difference.
Building a Business with Purpose
Liona was founded with a clear vision: to be a company that not only excels in IT services but also helps others thrive. From the beginning, I’ve wanted Liona to be a company where people are excited to come to work every day. I believe that success starts with the people behind the business, which is why creating a supportive, growth-oriented environment for my employees is a top priority. When our employees are empowered, they can deliver the kind of solutions and service that make our customers successful too.

When people ask me what my biggest dream for Liona is, I tell them it’s to be recognized as one of the most successful SBA-certified small businesses in the nation. But success is much more than financial achievement to us. It’s about having a great reputation with our customers, maintaining integrity in every business interaction, and taking care of the people who help Liona thrive.
Personally, I define success by staying true to my values, my faith, and my family. It’s about making the most of every opportunity, never giving up, and always striving to live a purposeful life. I’ve made it my mission to contribute to the success of others—whether that’s helping a client solve a complex IT challenge or providing a job opportunity to someone who’s just starting their career. That’s what drives us every day, and it’s the reason why we love what we do.
