Joshua Heim, Controller and Director of Accounting at Liona, is passionate about the field, viewing accounting like a Sudoku puzzle.  He is particularly thrilled when he gets the opportunity to dig into the proverbial weeds of accounting problems.  With over 10 years working with State, Local, and Federal Government contractors in accounting, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting principles, cost control, and client management.  His expertise spans multiple contract vehicles, including GSA, DIR, DCAA, DCSS, and SEWP, as well as multiple accounting systems and standards, both as an individual contributor and leading teams of various sizes.

Previously, Joshua has held leadership roles at Avid Systems and Waterstreet Ventures, where he has managed system integrations, accounting changes, and spearheaded accounting teams across the public and manufacturing sectors.  He is licensed as a CPA in multiple states, holds both a M.S. and a B.B.A. in Accounting, and is proud to call Asheville, North Carolina his home, where he is dedicated to enhancing lives through technology and process improvements.
