The UC-SB1-CAM is a unified communications high-performance video conference smart soundbar and camera. With its sleek and stylish design, this stunning front-of-room device allows for a clean install beneath the room display. It also interfaces with any computer via USB.
The soundbar is a lightly textured, gunmetal black finish with plastic housing and perforated stainless steel grilles. The die‑cast aluminum rear cover and integral steel hinged mounting bracket makes for an easy display and installation with freestanding or surface wall mount at ear/face level. Adhesive feet are included, and the mounting bracket is attached. The inputs and outputs of the soundbar are standard compared to other devices. An aux cable is also provided and allows the audio to go from the source directly to the soundbar without the need for a receiver or amplifier.
Our favorite features of this product are the wireless connection because of how easy it is to use, and the high-quality picture and crystal-clear audio for productive conference calls and meetings. With its linear quad‑element far‑field adaptive beamforming microphone array, the soundbar alters voices depending on the person’s location in the conference room. The soundbar is able to accurately and clearly project audio back to the listener with two high quality subwoofers and passive radiators containing polypropylene cones and rubber surround casing, as well as two polyester dome tweeters. The sound auto‑adjusts light levels and white balance, meaning everyone attending the meeting is heard. It also includes a high-quality equalizer which makes noise cancellation possible providing a higher quality audio.
The camera is compatible with any computer and has an output resolution of HD 1080p at 30 frames-per-second. It allows for three times lossless digital zoom and autozoom, pan, and tilt and has real-time scaling, dewarping, and perspective correction. It also detects and reports the number of people in frame, so no one is excluded from a video teleconference.
We highly recommend using Kramer Via as the software because of its seamless presentation abilities with amazing collaboration tools including whiteboard, chat, multimedia, file sharing and more. It also integrates with commonly used software such as Microsoft Teams, YouTube, and BlueJeans. All these features make conference calls and remote meetings easy to use and inclusive for everyone in the office.
